Für den Betreiber eines Studios ist die effektivste Werbung – neben der Weiterempfehlung – die Möglichkeit, die eigene Leistung hörbar zu machen. Und das geht am besten in Form eines Vorher/Nachher-Vergleichs, im Studiojargon: A/B comparison. Da wir für WordPress (mit dem unsere Website erstellt ist) keine vernünftige Möglichkeit gefunden haben, sowas hübsch und hörbar zu machen, haben wir mit unserem IT department einfach selbst ein Plugin entwickelt: Audio Comparison.

In Aktion kann man das z.B. hier sehen bzw. hören (wir berichteten). Neben der extrem günstigen Bezahlversion (ein paar Bier für ein Jahr, wahlweise gibt’s aber auch eine Dauerlizenz), die man natürlich kostenlos ausprobieren kann, gibt es auch eine freie Lite-Version.
Und alles geht ganz einfach über sogenannte Shortcodes, die auch ein Computerlaie auf seiner Website plazieren kann: [audiocomparison file_a="1.mp3" file_b="2.mp3"]. That’s it!

you know as an audio studio you want to show what you can do easily. this plugin does exactly that. it plays audio files time synchronized side-by-side. maybe a rewind button would be cool (hey designer!), but i actually like that it has no time bar. definitely buying the full version, just to support the designer
